How to Apply
To be considered to participate in the workshops, you must send your full application packet to Project Directors via email (thelongroadfrombrownneh@gmail.com) or mail (The Long Road from Brown (Att: Dr. Yonghee Suh), 5115 Hampton Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23529) by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on March 5, 2025. Your full application packet must include:
Your resume (no more than 2 pages)
Application essay (no more than 2 pages) that addresses: 1) your professional background; 2) your interest in the subject of the workshop; 3) your special perspectives, skills, or experiences that would contribute to the workshop; and 4) how the experience would enhance your teaching and/or school community
You should complete the application form through the “Apply Now” button on the project website
In general, application extensions will not be granted. Prospective participants must follow the stated application and acceptance deadlines. Any questions about applying should be directed to the individual project team. Participant eligibility criteria are determined by NEH. Application review and offer decisions are determined by individual project teams in accordance with NEH eligibility requirements.
